J&J Document Services, LLC Refund Policy
J&J Document Services, LLC is committed to providing professional and reliable notary and document services. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds may or may not be issued.
Notary Fees
Once a notarial act has been completed, notary fees are non-refundable.
Notary services are considered rendered once:
- Identity verification is completed
- The notarization is performed
- The notary seal and signature are applied
Travel Fees
Travel fees are non-refundable once the notary has:
- Departed for the appointment
- Arrived at the service location
- Begun travel to the appointment
Travel fees compensate for time, mileage, and scheduling commitments.
Cancellation Refunds
Refunds may be issued when:
- The appointment is canceled before travel begins
- The notary cancels the appointment
- The service cannot be completed due to notary error
Refunds are issued at the discretion of J&J Document Services, LLC.
No-Show Appointments
No-show appointments are not eligible for refunds if:
- The notary arrives and the client is unavailable
- The client cancels after arrival
- The client does not respond to communication
Incomplete or Improper Documents
Refunds will not be issued if:
- Documents are incomplete
- Required signers are not present
- Proper identification is not provided
- The signer refuses to sign
- The signer appears unwilling or coerced
- The notarization cannot proceed due to client-related issues
Remote Online Notary (If Applicable)
For Remote Online Notary (RON) services:
Refunds may not be issued if:
- Client fails identity verification
- Client lacks required technology
- Client fails to join the scheduled session
- Client cancels last minute
Payment Processing Fees
If a refund is issued, payment processing fees may be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.
Service Satisfaction
If you are unsatisfied with your service, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment. We will work to resolve the issue promptly.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed:
- Within 3–7 business days
- Returned to the original form of payment (when possible)
