Cancellation Policy

J&J Document Services, LLC Cancellation Policy

J&J Document Services, LLC values your time and strives to provide prompt and professional service. This Cancellation Policy outlines our terms regarding appointment cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows.

Appointment Cancellations

Clients are encouraged to provide at least 2 hours notice when canceling an appointment. This allows us to adjust our schedule and serve other clients.

Cancellations may be made by:

  • Phone
  • Text
  • Email
  • Online booking system (if applicable)

Same-Day Cancellations

Same-day cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee, especially if:

  • The notary has already traveled
  • The appointment is within 2 hours of scheduled time
  • The appointment required priority scheduling

No-Show Policy

A No-Show occurs when:

  • The client is not present at the scheduled location
  • The client does not answer calls or messages
  • The client cancels after the notary arrives

No-show appointments may be charged:

  • Full travel fee
  • Waiting time fee (if applicable)

Travel Fees

Travel fees may apply when:

  • The notary has already departed
  • The notary arrives at the location
  • The appointment is canceled during travel

Travel fees are non-refundable once travel has begun.

Waiting Time

Clients are expected to be ready at the scheduled appointment time.

A waiting fee may apply if:

  • The notary must wait longer than 15 minutes
  • The appointment extends beyond agreed time

Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. Clients may reschedule appointments without penalty when sufficient notice is provided.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Emergency Exceptions

We understand emergencies occur. Cancellation fees may be waived in cases such as:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Unexpected emergencies

Waivers are granted at our discretion.

Right to Refuse Service

J&J Document Services, LLC reserves the right to cancel or refuse service if:

  • Proper identification is not provided
  • Signer appears unwilling or coerced
  • Signer appears impaired
  • Documents are incomplete
  • Safety concerns arise
